About Me
Interiors by Mathilde was founded in 2001 by Linda Dubbelt Disse, a Dutch lady of origin living for over 20 years in the Algarve. The name Mathilde comes from her grandmother who is a great inspiration to her work.
Linda has crafted a language of design that speaks to her clients, which ultimately, at its heart, is an elevated approach to create the house of your dreams. Each project is an exciting journey and an opportunity for creative expression. Linda is known for her warm outgoing personality and family like relations with her clients. She approaches work and life with a sense of joy that is infectious.

The Way She Works
Linda’s working method – in which unburdening is an important theme – and the quality that she delivers constantly throughout the entire route, the craftsmanship in every area, luxury and perfection down to the smallest detail: these are all elements that merge into the end result.
Linda is very creative, she loves cooking, wrote a beautiful cookbook and is a very gifted painter which gives her the ability to combine all of her talents to create stunning designs that people couldn’t help but admire.
Linda especially likes sharing her initial creative thoughts on projects. To see how things can be done differently, how small or large interventions can change the outcome. But that alone doesn’t come close to what is achieved when working together with her suppliers, artisans and customers.
